Basic behavior training for your dog will save their life, why? In some states if your dog is being overly aggressive toward humans and other animals they will be put down and you will go to jail. Take the time to train your dog and be consistent, if you can't train your dog don’t get one. By using basic commands; sit, stay and come, etc. whatever you use don't change the commands it will confuse your dog. Positive re-enforcement is the best way to train your dog, no screaming or yelling at your dog, they don't know English. Train your dog with simple commands, eye contact and non-verbal gestures will work the best.

     I will only focus on real life situations that best fits one's life style. If your home is chaotic then your dog will be confused and not knowing what to do. Bad dogs come from bad humans. 

Whenever your dog gives you eye contact, one of the main reasons is communication. Your dog is waiting on your approval for something and making sure everything is ok, do not ignore this, give them a response.
